Micro-management, monitoring employees, where is the trust in employment?

Are you aware of supervisors looking over your shoulder?  Do you, as supervisor or manager, “have to watch the store?”  Are you left thinking that your employer does not trust you or your actions in the workplace–a place that you have dedicated approximately 8 hours of your time and energies?   Are these actions demeaning to you as an employee?

Doing investigations in the workplace for 15 years, I have found that many cases can be resolved by a mind change in the structure of the employer-to-the employee relationship in the working environment.  Give me some examples of your experience in this matter…
